silly boys

every 8th week, i have to work a late week at the imaging center from 12-8:30. a couple of wks ago when i came home around 8:30ish, i came home to the whole dining room being a tent. they made a "big tent" with the dining room table, quilts and blankets. brady cole thought it was the funniest thing ever and was giggling when i walked in the door. he was supposedly hiding, but also saying, "where's brady cole? " at the same time, meaning that he wanted me to find him under the tent. he likes to hide from me pretty often, but i'm pretty quick to find him with all the giggling he's doing.

cheezy smiles

look at that cheezy little smile that boy gives these days. he loves for me to take pictures of him and then let him see them on the camera. he says "take a picture me, mommy" and then he gives that big grin. he's such a ham!

ER visit

the sunday afternoon before halloween, we were headed out to a little halloween gathering, but were a little delayed due to brady cole slicing open his noggin. we were loading things up in buger's truck and brady cole was going around to his side to get in the car seat, but was pushing his tractor and not looking up. what to you know? he smacked the top of his head right into the trailer hitch on the truck. he was screaming and of course it was very scary to us considering the blood was running down his face and all over his shirt. needless to say, we were at the ER within 15 min. by the time we got there, he was doing just fine and asking "i at the hopital?" it wasn't as bad as we anticipated so thankfully they shaved a little hair off the top of his head and glued him back together with some dermabond. he's been doing fine w/ it and you can't even tell where they shaved his head. it's just itching him a little and we're just waiting for that clump of glue to come off now.
