this little boy loves to play baseball lately. aunt shelly, uncle brad and letson bought him this espn baseball thing for his birthday that he absolutely loves. for a 2 yr old, i think he's got quite the stance and the swing. he'll hit the ball and then take off after it. i recently taught him how to run bases while at buger's softball games. you can imagine what we're doing while buger's playing softball now. the first thing he says when we pull up to the park is "mama, i want wun bases."

2 wks ago my friend jessica, who i haven't seen in quite some time paid us a visit. we had a great time while she was visiting and it was great seeing her considering it had been a while. brady cole loved her so much and woke up last week still asking where "jessa" was? i know he's ready for her to visit again!

camden's 4th birthday party

 

on our way back home on sunday afternoon, we stopped at pump it up in pelham for camden's 4th b'day party. that was brady cole's first time there, and boy did he have some fun. he thought he was so big jumping and sliding w/ all the big kids (some of taylon's buddies). it made me just a little nervous, b/c i could just see us making a trip to the ER w/ a broken arm. as you can see, buger had just as much fun!

i've noticed, i'll have to fix my pictures later. picasa was acting up last night.

we enjoyed spending time w/ baby ryleigh and her mama on friday. brady cole liked that "babeeeeee" too. that's what he says when he sees babies. he's kinda obsessed w/ them right now. he even wanted a baby doll in target last week, but i quickly decided against that b/c i knew buger would kill me.

while in birmingham this past friday-sunday we met up w/ jessica and baby ryleigh and did a little shopping. during the shopping trip brady cole got to build his first build a bear. i wish i had pictures because he did so good. he did everything the lady told him to do w/ his heart for his new monkey named "chipee." he loves chipee so much and chipee is now going everywhere w/ us. he even tells chipee what to do, feeds him mac n cheese crackers and loves sleeping w/ him. i'm sure we'll be making trips back to build a bear in the future.

happy 4 years!!!!!!!

today is our actual 4 yr anniversary. i won't go on and on about how wonderful these past 4 years have been w/ buger, but i do love having him as my husband and can't imagine it any other way. i'm very blessed! he brought that pretty little arrangement to the imaging center today and a new charm for my pandora bracelet. i loved them both very much and thought it was sweet! we're not doing much tonight, b/c we're headed out to birmingham in the morning for his 10 yr reunion on saturday night. yep, 10 yrs already!! i'll be saying the same thing about mine in 2 more yrs. hopefully i'll have some pictures to share when we return. happy weekend!

this picture is a couple of wks old, but i think it was the first time brady cole had big boy underwear on. just recently, i've made it a habit to put it on him for a couple of hours if we're gonna be at home in the afternoons and he's been doing pretty well so far. i just don't want to speak too soon on this subject, but at least it's something that i'm not enforcing. he's telling me when he needs to use the potty, so i go along with it. he's doing the same at school and has been averaging 2 to 3 times a day using the potty, so maybe he'll keep this up. he's growing up way too fast!!!!

rhett, jana and pierce were recently down and we enjoyed spending some time w/ them. they were w/ us at cosmo's having dinner, but you wouldn't know it by my lack of pictures. i've been terrible about picture taking and i don't even have one picture of pierce and brady cole. oh well, hopefully we'll see them again soon. the above pictures are some girls that brady cole decided that he wanted to dance w/ at cosmo's. he's our little entertainer and loves to put on a show for anyone who will watch. he keeps us laughing. and did i mention that he's not shy? he will go up to anybody and start talking to them, find a way to get their attention, or even ask them to hold him if he wants to be held. i have no idea who he gets that from.

once again, i'm behind on posting pictures. actually, i haven't been that good about taking them either....i'll try and do better so that i can post more later in the week. these pictures are during the wk of the fourth when we spent a day on the beach w/ clint,stacey,camden,coden and grandaddy. brady cole thought he was a big boy playing on those boogie boards like his cousins and also enjoyed grandaddy holding him on one while he floated around in the gulf.

last wk/end we drove over and met some friends in new orleans. from enjoying a parade, just walking around the french quarter, eatin some yummy bbq shrimp that i'm still thinking about, shopping at the french market and eating at dickie brennan's steakhouse, we had lots of fun on our short getaway. we'll definitely have to do it again and maybe even make it an annual trip.

a couple a wks ago yai yai, pawpaw, brady cole, me and buger all enjoyed the circus on a sunday afternoon in pensacola. brady cole loved it and was such a good boy. he's still talking about those "elfants." as you can see he enjoyed him a $12 bag of cotton candy too. $12....yes, that's what i said.

and look who's smiling!!! as you've probably noticed, brady cole is not much on smiling for the camera lately. he knows that i want him to smile and that i get irritated when he doesn't, so i'm sure that's why he chooses not to most of the time. oh well, i got me a smile in this one last night while having dinner outside at live bait at the wharf...... cute huh?
