aunt shelly turned the big 30 today, so here are some pictures from tonight when we went and ate @ vallarta's (mexican restaurant) to celebrate her birthday. not too many pictures, but uncle brad and buger thought that brady needed a picture of the gentleman with the hat on like brady cole...........silly boys!!!!!!!

mardi gras 2007

here are some overdue pictures from this past tuesday or what most call.......... "fat tuesday!" we were professionals and did the whole tailgating thing before the parade started in orange beach. we looked like we were @ some big sports event, but it was actually just a mardi gras parade. we enjoyed mingling and playin w/ all of the kiddos before the parade started and especially the hamburgers and hot dogs that brady cole's daddy cooked. good times had by all and you can even see by the picture below that brady cole was soooo worn out and just had himself some fun. grandaddy and buger's granny even got to join us for the festivities in which i think they had them some fun too. that just means they'll have to come back for more next year.......

madi and her mommy and daddy came down to visit shelly, brad, and letson this wk/end and we saw them friday night when we were crazy people out in the freezing cold weather at a mardi gras parade. i wasn't a very good picture taker, so this is the only picture i have of them. i think madi was probably thinking......."would you please not touch me anymore.....you stinkin boy!" he's very touchy, so i have to hold him back sometimes!

swimming in the tub

this little boy llloooovvvveeess the water and is not scared one bit. i'm definitley not complaining because i'm sure it could be the opposite, but i do know that we're not gonna be able to blink our eyes when this little boy gets around the water this summer. his new favorite thing is to flip over and kick in the tub like he is swimming. he never seems to be getting anywhere, but it sure helps him get rid of some of that energy. little stinker is even starting to put his face down in the water.

baby trevor

here are pictures from yesterday when granna, brady cole & me went to birmingham for the day to visit baby trevor. it was a short, but nice visit. we were glad we got to see that adorable baby and glad that he and his mommy are doing great. brady cole is ready for trevor to get a little bigger and come to his house so they can go play on the beach together. won't be long and that's what these two will be doing. hopefully they won't act like trevor and brady's mamas used to when they got together. that was sometimes....nuttin but trouble!

mardi gras parade

we went to one of the fairhope mardi gras parades saturday night. brady cole loved it and got lots of beads, moon pies, cups, & footballs. it was lots of fun, but just a little cold. we didn't take many pictures b/c we were busy catching everything, so i'll have to a better picture taker @ the parades to come.

our bed

after about the 5th time of the silly boys running and jumping on the bed, this is the end result. it was really funny !!!!!!! you should have seen our faces when we heard the cracking/spliting of the wood along w/ brady cole's laughing. we couldn't do anything but laugh. we were planning on investing in a new bed, but just didn't want it to happen this way because we were still planning on using it in a spare room. oh well!!!!!! buger says that "it's fixable," but i'm not thinking so! i guess we'll just have to see.....

silly boys

okay, here are a few pictures of my two kiddos! this past wk/end they decided to jump on the bed and the second pictures shows them getting a running start into the bedroom before they jumped backwards onto a pile of pillows that was on the bed. brady cole loves playing around like this and is belly laughing the whole time and doesn't ever want to stop. typical little boy.....and loves playing rough!

afternoon ride with big sister

here are the kiddos taking a stroll in their wagon this afternoon. they both loved it.....or until brady cole started pulling lexi's tail. he's starting to learn about what "no no" means, so he just did it once. lexi was thankful and they ended up having a great ride together. sorry about the bottom picture. it's a little blurry because it's an action shot......the wagon was in motion. daddy didn't like stopping for picture time, so the wagon was steadily rollin along while crazy mama was trying to get pictures.

for the moment, at least! we now have 4 toofies breakin through @ the same time. i know that's a lot at once, but the positive side to it is that we'll probably get through it faster. i hope so............ poor little man! he's hangin in there pretty well. i think because we made the switch from tylenol to motrin and it seems to be working.........
