halloween carnival

last night we enjoyed the annual halloween carnival in orange beach in front of the fire station that the ladies auxillary puts on. brady cole had so much fun playing games, getting lots of candy from each booth after he would say "trick or treak", and of course jumping and sliding. he is so scared of scary mask and scary people. last night before we were leaving this little boy who had a scary face scared him while he was on the slide. i could not put him down for the last 20 to 30 minutes we were there b/c he was so scared of that little boy. he is still talking about that mean boy this morning. the first thing he said was "dat boy dat scare me, go home?" i told him "yes, and we wouldn't have to see him anymore." i think he's a bit traumatized. poor thing.

2006,2007,2008

look how much that baby boy has changed. this year he picked out his own costume. we were shopping one day and he demanded that he get that "dinofore." it's actually a red dragon, but it's definitely close enough to a "dinofore," so that's what we call him. he is so into dinosaurs lately. i have to say that it's his favorite thing right now. maybe if he's good santa claus can check on bringing him some "dinofores" this year.

cute picture

i left this picture out on the previous posts. it was taken when we came home from the shrimp festival during the day on saturday for brady cole to get a nap. doesn't look like a nap anytime soon from this picture..huh? it took a little bit to wind him down, but he did end up taking a pretty good one. i love that big smile when he shows all those teeth. thanks to our friends david and beate for the cute german firefighter shirt. they brought it back to him when they returned home from berlin in august.

silly boys

grandaddy, granny, diane, john, aunt stacey, uncle clint and the boys were all down for the shrimp festival. we had spaghetti at granny's last night before everybody headed back home today. i really don't want to imagine 2, 3, and 4 year old little boys together all the time. all i can say is....whew!! not really, they're pretty funny and as you can see very entertaining when they're not fighting :)

auburn game

a couple of weeks ago, buger and i drove to auburn and got to enjoy the game and some tailgating w/ jennifer and rj. they invited us to the game and to stay in their new motorhome. we had lots of fun even though we are bama fans. i'll root for auburn when they're not playing alabama and of course when they're playing tennessee. we had a great time and are looking forward to going back in the future.
