challenge
lately it's been pretty hard to take a good picture of big man. he's either crawling away from me, not interested in the fact that i'm trying to take a picture of him (which results in him just completely ignoring me), playing w/ a toy or trying to grab the camera like you see here. he's just busy and obviously not into the whole picture thing anymore. still cute, but dang.....he's a busy boy!

stanley the stink bug
okay, so you're all probably thinking...."what the heck is stanley the stink bug?" as most of you know, brady cole started daycare 2 wks ago and usually goes 3 days a wk depending on his daddy's schedule. i had a really hard time w/ it at first, but he's doing great and i just love it more and more every day that he goes. especially when i see how excited he is when he sees his little buddies and when i see him playing w/ them it makes me feel much better that he's getting that interaction. the extended care is temporary for about another 2 mths and then we're gonna do the mothers day out program from 8 to 1pm 3 days a week. we're doing this now in order for granna "yaya" to finish her chemotherapy and radiation and to fully recover, so she's resting up now for her boys!!! 6 more weeks of chemo, so not too much longer and our "yaya" will be feeling much better and ready for some beach time w/ letson and brady cole during the day. so thats the plan........she and letson go pick up brady from school when he gets out @ 1pm and get much needed beach time in. so, the stink bug story comes in to play when i pick him up today. i picked him up, put him on my hip and he starts tootin something terrible on my arm. i mean...it was vibrating my whole forearm, so i was laughing along w/ his daycare teacher. she then proceeded to tell me that his dirty diapers stink up the whole room really bad. when i got home, i found stanley the cute little paper bug in his diaper bag. i just love it! i guess he did the coloring for me w/ the blue crayon and someone wrote his name on the back of it. i thought it was hilarious! what a great award for our little boy!! i'm so proud of my stinker for getting such a lovely award in his 3rd wk of school. i laughed for a good while when i found this, so i thought i would share w/ everyone as a post. it will be a wonderful thing for his scrapbook. i agree that he can stink up a room, but i guess i was thinking they all stunk equally the same.......guess i got myself a winner!!!!!!!!!!!

strollin at the arts festival
here are pictures of the two stinkers this past saturday while granna "yaya", aunt shelly, letson, brady cole and myself all were enjoying the beautiful weather and the arts festival in fairhope. letson was a little pooped and really tired of brady cole enjoying strawberry ice cream right in front of him knowing that he couldn't have any yet. he just decided to pass on out after being treated so badly.

mommy and me
i know it's a little early and our baby is not 1 year old yet, but he is now facing forward in his car seat as of sunday....and loves it!!!! please don't turn us in!! him said he was tired of looking @ himself in the mirror and wanted to see and talk to his mommy and daddy while they are driving. his 9 mth check up was last wednesday and big man weighed in @ 21 pounds and 29 in, so i don't think we're being too terrible by letting him see out and enjoy his ride a little earlier than we're supposed to.
