baby harrison #2
i know i said i wasn't gonna have a 3d/4d ultrasound scan done this time, but it just kinda happened. i was recently told that i have 1 artery in my umbilical cord instead of 2. one 1/2 to 2/3 of babies that have one umbilical artery are just fine, but there are chances that there can be some defects, most common ones including heart (ventricular septum defects), kidney problems and gastrointestinal problems. so i had everything checked out. praise God everything looked just fine and baby was 6 days ahead of schedule. we're just gonna have a couple of more scans done near the end and probably a stress test. sua babies like to stop growing at the end sometimes, so it's a good thing we know about it. dr. said he recently delivered one a week before i was in and she made it to 40 wks 2 days and the baby was 7 1/2 lbs and doing just fine. i liked hearing that, but i don't plan on making it to 40 wks 2 days :) many people who have seen these pictures say that it looks like a boy. i'm not sure, but i do think it favors brady cole alot. we're still set on a girls name, but we have a new boys name that i'm very excited about and buger likes it too. i love it and it even starts with a K! it's just gonna take some more convincing that it should be the name if it's a boy and getting something set in stone with this baby's daddy can be a little difficult :) let's all just pray for baby harrison to join us in approx 11 wks as a healthy little baby!!!!!! nursery pictures coming soon.............

john and laura's rehearsal dinner
we were recently in b'ham for john and laura's wedding and these are some pictures that were taken at the silvertron cafe where we enjoyed dinner w/ much of buger's family. many of the pictures were taken by brady cole. he loves telling people to say "cheese," and as you can tell, that's just what they did. he told me he wants santa to bring him a camera and a vacuum cleaner for christmas, so we'll have to see if he's a good boy or not.
