she looks so innocent in these pictures and i love them. i just had to take a picture of her new zebra shoes too. i love them and i think she loves them just as much. more than anything, i think she'd like to put those flowers in her mouth :)

this is what she did while we checked out the animals. she was loving knawing on her stroller and come to find out it was bringing her much relief. when we got home and i was laying her down for a nap, i noticed a tooth had broken through. that explains the runny nose and i guess the chompin on the stroller did the trick.

brady cole's school went to the zoo on friday and i had the pleasure of being a chaperone. we had a great time. i just love the little gulf shores zoo and the kangaroo exhibit was awesome. they all had so much fun holding the little baby.

big man had such a huge day. got to hold a kangaroo and then friday night he got to go to a concert. i hate that i don't have pictures, but we went to the hangout music festival and got to see the zac brown band play. brady cole had so much fun! he says zac brown is his favorite and he wanted to give him a hug. he is always wanting to listen to the cd and i think he might have known more of the songs than me :) it was an awesome show and the set up was fabulous. i loved standing in the sand. it just didn't get too much better. hoping they do it again next yr.

are layla rae's stats from her 6 mth check up on thursday. she's a growing little girl! these are a couple of pictures that i snapped of her before the shots. she wasn't very cooperative and instead wanted to be a billy goat and eat the table paper. everything goes straight to her mouth these days.

she can't quite sit all by herself just yet, but it won't be long. she can do it for short periods of time and then just decides to plop on over, so i have to make sure she has some cushion or her boppy around her. she is still just as sweet as can be and loves loves loves her big brother. the girl lights up when he walks in the room and will practically break her neck trying to find him when she hears his voice. she still likes to squeal to get our attention, but she has found that babbling is much more fun. i have heard her say dadada along with bababa, yayaya, but i don't think she realizes what she's saying. still no mama though, even though i'm in her face saying it all the time. she just smiles at me and keeps babbling other things. i'm thinking she is definitely looking like her daddy in these pictures. she goes for her 6mth check up and shots tomorrow, so i'm interested in seeing how much big girl is weighing. those thighs are getting bigger by the minute :)
