we're back!!!
and had a great time on our trip to las vegas! we left last monday and arrived back home this past saturday, but i'm just now getting around to posting some pictures. i enjoyed my seminar for mammography while we were there and learned lots.....it was just a bit of an overload for me. brady cole was really good the whole trip and enjoyed himself also. he is soooo funny these days trying to talk and pointing to everything. we were sooo nervous about how he would do with flying (considering the atlanta to vegas flight was almost 4 hours long) but he did so good. on the way back he woke up at 4 am in the morning and was a little cranky, but who wouldn't be? he was just so restless when he woke up and was fighting his sleep. after about 45 min of wrestling him, yaya finally got him back to sleep and he didn't wake back up until we got to the pensacola airport. such a good boy. i was sooo worried about his ears too, but they didn't even seem to bother him one bit. i think mine probably hurt worse. i don't have any pictures from the FAO SCHWARZ toy store, but i believe brady cole was in heaven. he's getting a surprise shipped here in a couple of days, so i'll try and post a picture of it. i've definitely got to get around to putting some videos on here. his new words as of last night are "ROLL TIDE."

innocent?
ummmm.......no!!!! i had just walked around the corner and caught him climbing on the baker's rack. this is the look i caught on his face. i think he was giving me that sweet look so i wouldn't get on to him. stinker!!!!!!
feeling better!
last wk/end he was running a low grade fever and wasn't eating well. we knew something was wrong w/ him, so off to the urgent care we go on sunday...and guess what???....... both ears were infected. thanks to some augmentin, he is up and running again. i'm so glad he's feeling better. i knew we definitely better take care of those ears before hopping on an airplane in just a couple of days b/c that wouldn't be too good. dada,brady cole, ya ya, and me are off to vegas real soon for a couple of days. i can't wait, but i'm gonna be a busy gal at least 3 1/2 days while we're there. i got a new position w/ my job and the hospital is sending me there for some training. i'm really looking forward to the career change and hopefully just working 4 days a week in the next couple of mths so that i can spend more time w/ the big man.
we''re so glad that ya ya has decided to join us on the trip too. of course she's gonna give us some grown up time w/out our stinker but, also she needs a trip "getaway" to celebrate being done w/ that chemotherapy and radiation. she's doing really well. her labs are great and her bone scan that was done a couple a weeks ago was negative too (praise the LORD), so we're all happy about that. she stills needs her rest b/c people say it takes a while to recover from cancer treatments. we're just blessed that she's gotten good news and she can just get that r & r and take it easy when she feels the need. brady cole loves taking naps w/ his yaya :) i'm sure that energy level will come back in the near future.
