the ferry
a couple of weeks ago we took the ferry from fort morgan over to dauphin island. this is the only picture i took, but i thought it was pretty cute. brady cole enjoyed the ride and thought it was pretty funny every time the waves would splash up on the cars and almost get him and his daddy wet.

mardi gras 2009
my little sony camera is officially no longer in service. of all days, it quit working last tuesday when we were off work, out of school and enjoying all the festivities of fat tuesday. this is all the pictures that i have to post right now b/c i don't have a working camera. .hopefully, we'll be back up and running soon. brady cole enjoyed mardi gras this year quite a bit. we actually pulled floats in 2 different parades and he loved throwing things. he also enjoyed being the receiver too. especially all the footballs he got at the fairhope parade on valentine's night.
we're just getting in from a busy weekend. busy weekend in birmingham and no camera? yes, that is no camera at aunt shelly's baby shower, my friend katie's wonderful wedding reception and brady cole's first snow? i know...that's my luck. at a baby shower when i see people i don't get to see often... staci and trevor man, and then at a wedding reception with college friends that i haven't seen in quite some time. jenn had her camera today and hopefully she'll be emailing me pictures of brady cole's first snow experience soon. he, aiden and austin had a good time, but they sure didn't hesitate to let us know that they needed to come inside and warm up b/c they were cold. we were so glad we got to visit and stay out in chelsea with them, let the boys play together and of course, enjoyed meeting the new litle addition...sweet baby jax. hopefully more blog updates soon. have a great week!

happy bama times day!!!!!
last week when i picked brady cole up from school, he kept talking about bama times. i had no clue what he was talking about and just thought he was being silly. he mentioned it again a couple of days later, and i finally realized what he meant. he was actually talking about valentine's that he had made/painted at school. how cute is that? we hope everyone has a "happy bamatimes day!" we're off to eat our bamatime dinner and to a mardi gras parade afterwards.

gulf breeze zoo
we recently took a trip over to the gulf breeze zoo. we had lots of fun and brady cole was all into it. he loved pretty much all the animals too. it's a great zoo that we had never been to, so we'll definitely go back for another visit in the future. we enjoyed a little train ride and got to see zebras, hippos, gorillas and all sorts of different types of deer. i saved the picture for the tiger all by himself. he obviously didn't like us looking at him b/c right after i shot this picture of him, he got up, walked to the fence, and squirted tee tee out of his hiney all over buger and brady cole and just kept walking. what a stinker!!!! it was hilarious, but a little gross too. luckily, i didn't get a squirt but i grabbed the baby wipes and helped them clean up afterwards.

brady cole's favorite
in one of the previous post, i mentioned that his geotrax is one of his favorite things to do. he loves it so much, and it's likely that he will talk about them in conversation any time he may see you. he's not hesitant to talk about it at all. he spends much of his time playing his geotrax. he even had to take a litle pamphlet to school that came in the box of one of his choo-choo's and show his teacher different types of geotrax this week.

saying "boo"
he loves to hide and jump out and say "boo." instead of saying that he wants to hide from me, he says, "mommy, i wanna say boo." which means that he wants to hide. he loves hiding behind our couch too. silly boy!

happy 2009
we didn't do too much to ring in the new year other than sleep since brady cole hasn't been feeling well, so we took him to the hangout for a little while last night. we had appetizers while brady cole got a little dancing in. he's such a flirt and you can tell by that huge smile on his face that he was loving every bit of dancing with our waitress.

Christmas Day at Yai Yai and PawPaw's
brady cole and letson racked up again on christmas day. brady cole's favorite part was actually opening his "pesents." when he ran out he would be quick to see if cousin needed some help. brady cole got spike the dinosaur which he is still a little unsure of at times, a big wheel, airplane for his geotrax, an easel, portable dvd player, and lots of other goodies from yai yai and pawpaw. i have to say his favorite is probably the airplane for his geotrax. he would play with that thing all day if you would let him. it's really cute and buger and i both enjoy playing his geotrax with him. i'll have to take a picture of his "set up" one day. we've been hit with the cooties at our house this past wk, so brady cole has been a little under the weather. he got RSV and had to take his "breeeeth teatments" as he would call them. we tried not to let him run around and play too much since he had some wheezing going on, so yesterday was the first time he's been out of the house in a while. the radio flyer scooter that kaka and dayle bought him has been great this week, b/c he's been able to ride that inside. he loves it and rides it all over the house. he says "look me, ride my cooter."
